When Jesus disembarked and saw the vast crowd,

his heart was moved with pity for them for they were

like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach

                        them many  things 

                              Mark 6 : 34

 On a walk on a Welsh hillside, I found that I was being

 followed! A flock of hopeful sheep trailed after me across

 the field, and I thought that the farmer probably brought

   them food at that hour of the afternoon. Sheep will go

 where they think the food is. No wonder so many hungry

hearts flocked after Jesus. The Good Shepherd not only

  guides and protects his sheep, he also feeds the flock.
